This course equips you to navigate safely on coastal and offshore passages.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Theory Classroom will take your theory knowledge to the standard required for the Yachtmaster\u2122 Coastal and Yachtmaster\u2122 Offshore practical exams, concentrating on advanced navigation and meteorology skills.<\/p>\n<p>As with the Day Skipper shorebased course, the RYA\u2019s specially designed chart plotter software will be used during the course to give you a realistic taste of modern electronic navigation.<\/p>\n<p>The course is run over 6 days in the classroom in Chiavari including the completion of the three exam papers which give you the qualification RYA Coastal Skipper and\u00a0 Yachtmaster Offshore Shorebase. For candidates looking to move on to the MCA qualifications it is a requirement to have the shorebased qualification, it is also required for to become RYA instructors.<\/p>\n<p>Included is all course materials including RYA Yachtmaster Theory course notes.
