This is where it all begins!

Just Sailing’s RYA Start Yachting Course is designed to give you a fun, gentle and educative introduction to the world of sailing and covers the basics of sailing.

Run over a two day period the syllabus includes personal safety, how to safely leave and return to a pontoon, sailing theory,  yacht handling under sail and basic safety at sea.

By the end of our RYA Start Yachting Course you will have a basic understanding of yacht handling under sail as well as background knowledge.

So that’s the official line on what we hope you achieve however, at JUST SAILING we hope for more. We hope that you will have a really great time, want to sail more, make new friends and feel a great sense of achievement as you start your own exciting sailing adventure.

This course fits well with the 5 day Competent Crew Course which can follow on directly.
